A Hearing of the Discipline Committee of the New Brunswick Association of Social Workers was held on September 8, 2025, to hear and determine a Complaint against a Member alleging professional misconduct.

By Voluntary Submission, the Member acknowledged that he did not maintain the integrity and the reputation of the profession. The Member also acknowledged that his conduct constitutes professional misconduct.

Following a determination that the Respondent was guilty of professional misconduct, the Discipline Committee imposed the following discipline sanctions:

1. Written reprimand to be placed in the Respondent’s file for a period of 1 year; and

2. Summary and publication of the proceeding without names for the education of the membership.
